Wheelchair friendly malls in Karachi

We all know Pakistan’s infrastructure is not very disabled friendly. Going out and about without proper planning can be very frustrating as most places lack proper access for wheelchair bound and physically challenged people. There is a major lack of wheelchairs, ramps, parking spaces, escalators, elevators etc which are required not only by wheelchair bound people but also senior citizens.

Disabled people need to socialize too and there are some kind souls who realize this. In this sorry state of affairs there are some who are coming forward and making an effort to include all. Below is the list of disabled friendly shopping malls in Karachi, they are only a handful but it is something :)

I have never actually been to “The Forum” and “Millennium Mall”, and I am yet to visit the new “Dolmen City Mall” so I am not sure if they meet or don’t meet the criteria. Can someone please update me on that?

I know there are other malls too but again I have not been there and frankly I don’t even know the names of all. If someone has any other information that they think can help, please comment below so we can add it here. Thank you :)

  1. This Is Some Pretty Nice Information. It Might Not Be Much To Me But To People Who Require Such Facility, This Might Be Really Great. I’ll Ask People To Share More Places Of Their Surroundings That Support Such Things, It Can Be Added In The Next Post Like This. :)
